PROFILE
As General Manager of this innovative venture, Damien's role is to develop the GAC Corporate Academy as per the very ambitious and progressive business plan approved by the GAC Main Board. To carry out this plan, Damien must liaise with senior stakeholders of the GAC Group, managers of GACs client companies and external specialists to provide exciting and compelling learning opportunities for all members of the GAC World. 

Damien's unique combination of experience, skills and formal education makes him perfectly suited to manage the Academy at its outset and to ensure delivery of its planned objectives and outcomes. Having spent almost 15 years with the GAC Group, he has acquired a thorough knowledge of the Group's corporate strategy and business objectives, and is entrusted with aligning the Academy's outcomes with the ongoing success of the Group.

Damien has had a range of line management roles across GAC Group Operations, and experience in executing Group organisational development initiatives. He has been instrumental in developing the strategy and business plan to create and execute the ongoing evolution of GAC Corporate Academy.

Damien's formal education includes an undergraduate degree in logistics and operations management, an MBA, a Master of Education specialising in e-learning and corporate education, and is currently undertaking a Master of Human Resource Management. These qualifications ensure leadership of the Academy by staff experienced in latest technological developments in corporate education, and supported by the most current developments in human capital management.
