PROFILE Born in Cairo to an Egyptian father and a Turkish origin mother, in her early teens her family moved and resided in the USA, and later on in Canada. As a child, she claimed she was 'born to fly' and pursued her belief by joining the airline industry as a flight attendant, where she discovered her deeper and true passion for teaching, and continued to manage safety training departments in several airlines.In efforts to enhance her career and skills, she completed various trainings – Train the Trainer, Leadership Techniques and Leaders’ Psychology, acquired Security Lead Auditor Certification, HSSE Train the Trainer Course, Advanced First Aid, Fire Fighting – and with GCA she completed the Process Design Analysis (PAD) and Health Safety Security Environment (HSSE) online courses. Mona joined GAC Qatar in 2008 as an Asset Management and Security Executive, and was also conducting HSSE awareness trainings and maintaining of the locations’ safety and security standards where she, together with the management team, decided to go the extra mile in support for all trainings and held an HSSE awareness campaign. Through variable experiences travelling and living in Egypt, USA, Turkey (Ankara, Istanbul & Antalya), Canada (Montreal and Vancouver), Qatar and UAE, she is certain that her life goal is to bring a positive change to others lives and careers – through listening, guiding, coaching, and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing them use the shared knowledge to move ahead in life and succeed, and also learning from others. Mona sees the world as her home with yet lots to explore and learn. Therefore, she is eager to use the e-learning technology. Now for the first time, as a course facilitator, to meet colleagues from all over the world and exchange knowledge. |
