PROFILE

Jane Wardle started out her career in the Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service as a Medic.  After leaving the Royal Navy to bring up three children, she later went on to train as an Operating Department Practitioner, completing and achieving her BSc (Hons) in Perioperative Practice at the University of Surrey.

Jane specialised in Anaesthetics and Recovery but had a life-changing moment after attending a lecture by a Clinical Practice Educator. She was so inspired that she took them on as a role model and set herself the goal of achieving a training job. Within 18 months she was working in Training and Development in operating theatres. Since that time she has been fascinated with the goal setting and development process, and has played an active role in helping others to realise their own goals.

In 2008 Jane accompanied her husband Justin and their children to a posting with the Royal Navy in Dubai.  Jane embraced a different role in learning and development with the Foreign Office where she was training diplomats and locally engaged staff in leadership and management, performance appraisal, behavioural styles, life skills and coaching.  From there she has become a consultant and is now embarking on her Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

As a facilitator with GCA, Jane brings her extensive training experience and ability to nurture people to achieve their goals. She is a keen Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and loves water sports as well as reading thrillers and autobiographies.
