PROFILE

Danielle hails from Sydney, Australia but early on decided that staying in one place was not nearly as much fun as travelling. After roaming around the world, Danielle fell in love with Pakistan in 1997 and is now settled there permanently with her husband and three kids.

In 2010 Danielle completed the IGW course with GAC as a participant. She then went on to conduct the 2010 Employee Satisfaction Survey (ESS) and collate the findings. Throughout this process her emphasis was on producing results that were not only statistically significant, but could be used throughout GAC to improve progress towards the VY-GV strategic plan.

Danielle has worked for the last three years in the world of internet marketing, running her own SEO writing company. This involves specialised analytical sales research to build the internet presence of companies and increase online traffic. The process involves researching user search trends, and designing web content that will bring more people to the client site and hence increase online business.

Danielle has an active interest in designing and optimising sales processes, with a particular focus on understanding customer needs, designing sales models to meet those needs, and then analysing the outcome through research techniques.

In Australia, Danielle studied Agriculture at Hawkesbury Agricultural College during the development of one of the first experiential learning courses in the world. It was the early days of incredible community empowerment programs like Total Catchment Management and Landcare, and she developed a dual love of community facilitation and strategic program evaluation and planning.

Prior to her travels to Pakistan, Danielle worked in Australia facilitating local groups in the community involvement programs Landcare and Streamwatch. She designed, implemented and documented the Review of Landcare NSW program in 1993, and went on to conduct the Rangelands Strategy Evaluation in 1995. She later played an integral role in evaluating the Streamwatch community water quality monitoring program and redesigned the program based on stakeholder requirements.

Danielle is strongly committed to training and education and is full of enthusiasm about being involved in GAC’s state-of-the-art Corporate Academy.
