PROFILE

Anna Krassa is located in New Moudania (Chalkidi, North Greece) her home town. She  lives with her husband and their daughter. Anna considers GCA work an opportunity to digitally travel and meet people from all over the world.

Her studies are in librarianship, though she started working on e-learning in 2005, joining an inquiring team in the University of Macedonia (Thessaloniki, Greece). While working for the University, Anna had the chance to work and expertise in Moodle – a virtual learning environment. In late 2006 she was certified as a Moodle teacher and this gave her the opportunity to join GCA Academy as HRDNZ Moodle Partner contractor in July 2007.

The first challenge Anna faced in GCA was the facilitation of the Personal and Professional Development course (PPD). When course withdrew after two years, her position changed from facilitating to instructional designing, because of her Moodle background.

While continuing her work in instructional designing for GCA's e-learning courses, and as a GAC Facilitators, she faces a new challenge to facilitate the Information Technology in the GAC World (ITG) course – a challenge that she has accepted with joy and enthusiasm.
