|
GACs foremost concern is to provide employees and stakeholders with a healthy, safe, secure working environment while limiting the carbon footprint that our business activities leave on the planet. HSSE will enhance the participant’s knowledge on GACs views and policies, and empower them to promote the importance of HSSE to both clients and suppliers.

Who this course is for:
This course is designed for all personnel who wish to enhance their knowledge and application of those key principles of HSSE within the GAC Group.
What this course covers:
The HSSE course will enable participants to describe the importance of HSSE to the GAC environment, and explain their role in the GAC HSSE culture. This includes, but is not limited to:
How this course will be taught
HSSE runs for eight weeks and is delivered via our state-of-the-art interactive online Learning Management System.
This course has taught me a tremendous amount and I have gained knowledge on GAC's views on the Health, Safety, Security and Environment of our industry.
This course has given me the inspiration to ensure HSSE in my workplace and will carry the same wherever I go. I believe that each and every participant of this course has enhanced their knowledge by sharing their experience. Hence it’s obvious that this course is an initial step to construct a powerful HSSE culture across the GAC World.
There were many things previously that I just ignored or paid no attention to in the office environment. Since doing the HSSE course, before I start something, I stop and think if it conforms to the HSSE rule that I learnt from this training. Small things like eating the right food and observing proper diet (Week 3 – Heath & Wellness); Promoting good security within our company premise (Week 5 – Security Audit); or conserving paper and energy for the environment (Week 6 – Chairman’s Environmental Award). I make sure that I apply every guiding principle that I learn. After all, that’s what trainings are for. Who to contact:
The course is open to all GAC employees. For further information, please contact Waleed Jameel, Business Manager – GAC Corporate Academy.
