Profile

Highly experienced in e-learning, economics and international business, Anouk brings a wealth of knowledge to the GAC Corporate Academy (GCA). She has completed Masters Degrees in both Applied Economic Sciences and Business Administration in her native Belgium. As her career interests evolved toward adult education and e-learning, Anouk obtained formal tertiary qualifications in these fields from universities in South Africa and the United Kingdom.

Anouk previously worked in Africa for fifteen years as an economist/educator before moving to New Zealand where she now operates as an e-learning specialist. In this role, she advises and trains others on the delivery and design of courses, and also provides her own tailored e-learning solutions.

Anouk is particularly interested in the way new technologies enable people to learn together in virtual communities. Apart from the obvious benefit of being a highly efficient means of delivering education, this process has the added advantage of promoting a culture of international teamwork and collaboration, values that are central to the success of any modern business.

Anouk is well placed to be an instructional designer, course facilitator and coach for GCA. Not only is she highly qualified and experienced in e-learning, but she has travelled widely in the course of her career - an ideal grounding for the multicultural environment of the GAC group of companies.

A native Dutch speaker, Anouk is also fluent in French and English. She looks forward to the challenge of combining her various skills and training to help GCA become an e-learning centre of excellence.
